Project and Operational Management

Forward Thinking Education can draw on a wide range of experience in managing the effectiveness of schools. Examples include project managing the opening of a new building including construction works, training administration staff, and improving attendance systems. Recently, Forward Thinking Education has provided interim leadership of the HR function to a multi-academy trust, including the implementation of a new HR system. Forward Thinking Education's involvement can be for a short period of support to ensure the success of a project or over an extended period of time from start to finish.

Governance

Forward Thinking Education draws on its experience with school governing bodies and leadership roles to ensure trustees are more effective, helping them understand the educational world in which their school operates. Recent examples include developing a data dashboard for trustees and supporting trustees on selection panels.

Educational Training and Leadership Support

Forward Thinking Education delivers training. Currently, this is focused on outdoor education for an environmental charity,  Excel and MIS training for school staff, and governance training.
